Then how are you supposed to pay rent and utilities for that place where you go on Sunday? If YOU are the CHURCH, then shouldn't you be sharing in the responsibility of paying the bills? Someone has to pay the rent, utilities, salaries of full and part time employees, the missionaries that the church sponsors, the cost of children and youth ministry curricula and materials, the cost of running the web site, etc. etc. If YOU are the CHURCH, then step up to the plate and pay your fair share. I think 10% is reasonable for someone claiming to be the church.
