Hi Cat,

I have been abstaining from sex as well. I spent the weekend with my syf doing lots of fun stuff. No sexual feelings bombarded me this time, a few tried but I was successful in the battle. But then I saw a boy today when I was out a hot sexy looking boy! This totally set me off, I got home and well lets just say that abstaining lost! My wife is still ok with no sex for right now because I am going to counseling for help so I do not have that added pressure right now. I still am not going to give up, I had a set back and will go back to abstaining from sex again. I am doing this as like fasting so I can walk closer with the Lord.

I feel like giving up as well, there are other pressures in my marriage. But I cant do it because I feel that the Lord said he will never leave or forsake me. I am to love my wife like Christ loves the Church so I cant leave or forsake her. Sometimes I feel trapped in a mess I cant get out of!! But I am going to put my trust in Jesus and still keep trying to make things work.

It must be so hard having to go through that situation, I hope you do not give up though. I know that somehow the Lord will bless you for what you are doing for her! I know how much of a sacrifice that is for you!!!!
