You know I have a different point of view so I don't need to spill it all out again... but

HOW MUCH I WISH THIS WERE TRUE!

I can see why this theology is so attractive to same gender attracted individuals. I can imagine nothing better than to be married to some wonderful boy. It would be pure bliss! I long for such a thing with (it seems at times) every ounce of my being.

Alas, I just can't get past the patterns I see in Scripture for God's plan for heterosexual marriage. Nor do I really want to... in the sense of "why can't You do things MY way God!"

You(/We) take your chances, you go with your conscience and we all stand before God on the day of judgment. On that day ALL of us will be glad we are saved by grace alone.

I can pray your prayer. I just have to leave any possibility of sex out of the equation. But I do believe God can bless me with a platonic boy(s) to love and I thank Him for it when He does.
