Cat has been in this marriage that is not working for 30+ years (I'm pretty sure that's what you have said Cat). He has tried everything he can think of to either change his sexuality or make his marriage work staying the way he is and has tried everything others have suggested.

If you have been paying attention at all to Cat's posts you will see that his wife is not happy either. She was when there were more lies in their marriage. Are you suggesting they go back to that?

Cat IS suffering for his wife. What exactly do you mean that if he really wants to do God's will than he won't suffer anymore?

This sounds like the broken theology of "If you have enough faith God will make your life great" Let's see Job, Paul, Jesus' death and persucation, all the martyrs, David getting chased for years by Saul, should I mention more faithful from scripture who had difficult lives? I can find plenty outside of the Bible as well if you'd like.
