I saw "Saved!" some time ago, when it came out. It was cool to see Macaulay Culkin in a movie after such a long absence from the silver screen. Well, he did "Party Monster", which I wasn't too impressd with..it was ok, but not great, I thought. But I liked Saved! because it was irreverent and kind of let it all hang out in regards to how Christian teenagers might feel now. I like it when a director takes such a different approach to a subject like this. I'm sure there were many Christians out there who hated this movie, in fact some were people from my church (booh!), but oh well. There are always going to be people who don't "get it" when it comes to controversal subject matter. I don't care...I liked it and I thought it was well done. The story may have been kind of shallow, but the acting was terrific.
