Thank you for taking the time to write such a thorough, detailed respond. I'm going to definitely take the time to "process" it and attempt to "get" what God would have me get from it.

I am afraid, though, that I need to "call it quits" on this debate. It is just getting to be too much for me at the moment. My last post took over six hours to write, which consumed a significant part of two evenings. [I am not a fast writer by any stretch, especially when the issues get complicated.] As I look at your most recent post, the thought of attempting to, first of all, understand it at a basic level, then research all the issues I don't understand, and then respond in some coherent fashion, ... is just so daunting I'm going to have to throw in the towel. I hope you understand.

Thank you for taking the time to carry on this dialog with me. It has been a definite "learning experience" in many ways. I don't know if we'll ever come to agreement on this issue, but I certainly understand your position much better than I did at the start, and in that sense at least, it has been well worth it.

Though I am not asking with the intent to debate, if you would like to share your perspective on what, if any, role God played in the evolution process, I'd be interested to hear more.
