Good point. I'll try to do that. For what it's worth, though, changing subject lines make more sense in the threaded view than it does in the date view. As I use the date view most of the time, I can never guess what thread a new post is a part of until I open it up. May I suggest a combination of the two. For example, always start the Subject line with the primary subject or name of the thread, and THEN add the distinguishing characteristic of the post itself.
