Christian BoyLove Forum #53716

I can't agree more. There may be a valid Christian argument for gay loving relationships, but it won't be found embroidered on great-aunt Millicent's sampler from 1916. "Be he ever so humble, there's no friend like a boy-lovin' boyfriend." It should be common sense, but we are not sensible enough for that, preferring grand theories about the natural order and the teleology of desires instead. Moreover, there's no such thing as advanced biology. There is only biology. Which, as it's perpetuated through reproduction, clearly has something to do with sexuality (as the campy gay boys would say, 'hello?'). Refuting arguments that come from realities because the realities seem esoteric (though obviously they're all bread-and-butter to someone, or used to be in the case of ancient languages) is fundamentally self-defeating. Reality will win every time. The argument may be flawed, but don't even think about shooting the realities dead with a simplifying gun. They may hide but they won't die. |
