To me, Dakota's interpretation is very modern. In fact, many teenagers seem not to be sure what their sexual orientation is because they experience a little of this and a little of that.

To me, the clarifying factor is "who do you fall in love with?" I suppose perhaps one part in 60 of my native sexuality might have been heterosexual... i could have forced myself to have straight sex for some years ... but I would never have had a big crush on a girl or woman, never the hope that this was the one for me... and nothing to sustain a 30-year fascination like I have had for the beautiful one in my own life (my boyfriend), with limitless longsuffering to make the "in sickness and in health" an easy promise to keep.

To me, it's not about sex. Who cares who you could have sex with? We are Christians, and the question for us is, who will you mightily and wonderfully love?

The sex is just a communication of the love, it is a subordinate. Between true partners there is nothing but love in it.
