Well, taking this request quite literally, and probably much to literately, how about two neologisms:

Paedepithumete -- a luster after boys

Paedagapist -- an (agape, i.e., holy-spirit-inspired or selfless-love-inspired) lover of boys.

The word epithumeo, often translated as lust, is much discussed these days in terms of whether it refers to sexual fantasy or to actually marking a sexual target, as it were. I take the latter point of view. Pronounced ped-epi-thoo-mete to almost rhyme with red pepper stew meat.

The word agapist has many online hits already.

In terms of actual existing classical words (from Perseus, http://www.perseus.tufts.edu/), there are a few underused gems:

Paidokorax (anglicising as pedocorax), literally boy-raven/crow, a ravenous luster after boys. Why the old pedocorax, he has yet another YF in tow!

Paidopipês, an adjective "spying after boys".. he was the most pedopipic fellow in the swimming club.

Paidomania, mad love of boys. I suffer from severe pedomania, sigh! Once a pedomaniac, always a pedomaniac.

Paidokrator, guardian of boys. Keep your hands off, I'm the pedocrator here!

Paidophulax, civil service-appointed guardian of boys. Hello, I am applying for your pedophulax position?

Paidodidaskalos, a teacher of boys. Most likely anglicising via graeco-latin as pedodidact.


There are a few more but the database is so slow and error-prone that my patience has run out.


Incidentally, there is a wonderful classical adjective in the Perseus database that we MUST try to revive: (glucupais ---> anglicising by analogy with glycerol) glycypedic - "full of sweet boys," originally used to describe the island of Rhodos. New sample sentence: "I live in the most glycypedic town in America!! Whee!!"
