I know that there are some really heavy things going on right now here in the forum, but I just wanted to comment on this movie that I watched last night. If you get a chance, rent "The Kite Runner" and give it a watch. If you have seen it, let me know what you think of it. I thought it was quite a moving film about the lasting love and friendship of two boys through some incredible difficulties. It is about two Afganistan boys who must endure terrible hardships as it takes place back when Russia invaded Afganistan. Of course there is much more to the movie, but I have little time to write about it. I loved it so check it out. Also, when I watched the reviews of other up and coming movies on the DVD, I saw one that I KNOW I want to see as soon as it's released. It's called "Son of Rambow". I looked it up and it was a smash hit at the Sundance film festival. It's about two (absolutely adorable) young boys who decide to make a movie about....you guessed it....Rambo. I can't wait!!!!!
