Ok...so this is about a week after I saw this movie. I was going to write a review about it last week but other things were more important. But maybe this is a good time to lighten things up a little bit.

I couldn't wait to see this movie after the last movie I saw starring Freddie Highmore, 'August Rush'. I wanted to see more of my lovely heart-throb so badly that when I saw that Spiderwick was finally at the theater, I almost camped out at the front door...in the snow! Well, I can't say that I was dissapointed, but this movie is no August Rush. Freddie is so VERRRRRRYYYY cute at 15 or 16, and he does a wonderful job playing two completely different roles as twin brothers. He also manages to lose his English accent quite early in the movie. I heard a little of it durring the first few scenes, then it was gone. That is something I both like and dislike...I haven't really decided which. The story is pretty good and the rest of the cast does a nice job altogether. It's a very good movie and I recomend it, but....

It's NOT August Rush!
Which, by the way, came out on DVD this week. I AM buying it but I think I can stand to wait until I can get it for less than the $20.00 price tag that's on it right now. I THINK I can...maybe...

Oh God I'm like a junkie...I'm going to get it...who cares what it costs?!!!
