While hardly a definative source, read the Wikipedia page on "Repairative Therapy" and then do a google search for ex-gay and/or ex-ex-gay. You'll discover a few rather telling things: this kind of thinking is wholly condemned by the entire psychological community as harmful and futile, one of the primary founders of Exodus International left the organization and now are at the head of a thrust to stop them including running ex-ex-gay ministries to help people recover from the damage these groups cause, the suicide rate for ex-gay participants is sky-high, each ex-gay group uses its own methods in direct contrast to established applications of therapies where a set of methods proven effective are used universally (providing evidence that each new group has to come up with new versions because the last version didn't work).

The entire ex-gay concept is, IMO the deceptive work of the devil himself, every bit as damaging and more than the WBC and their signs. All it does is hurt and kill people, and drive those who survive away from God as they eventually must conclude (if they still believe in the ex-gay concept) that God has judged them unworthy of change, or that God doesn't exist (because the ex-gay dogma tells them that this is what God says should happen and that they should change if they go through the program) and so they leave the program, and leave God as well.

Cat is not going to "get it" he's been "sticking with it" for years. He's got kids for Jesus' sake! It's not God's will, or else God would have done it by now.

you are right about one thing though. There is a demon dragging him down. A demon called "ex-gay" and it needs to be exorcized.
