You bring up some excellent points. I might go further in stating that there are no scriptures passages at all that condemn homosexuality. There are those that seem to, when you read them in English or out of context or without understanding of the cultural contexts and subtleties, but careful consideration of each and every one leads to the inexorable conclusion that God doesn't condemn homosexuality nor its loving practice.

Youth?? is correct in saying that "God made me gay, so it's ok" is pathetic. On the other hand, "God made me gay, and it's ok" is correct, if still not a valid argument.
