This is a difficult situation, and I don't envy the decisions you have to make.

Please don't take this as a slam against you, because it's certainly not, but the problem with there being "romantic" feelings/gestures shared between a man and a boy (though, admittedly, the age difference in your situation is much less), is that it can so easy become something more -- and when it does, it can so easily become really complicated and dangerous (as it has in this case).

I would just encourage you to "make the right choice" and "don't do anything you will regret later". It seems trite to use cliché's like that, but I think they apply. Think about the future -- beyond just the here and now (and the momentary excitement taking this relationship further might bring). What will be the implications of these decisions you make? For you? For your YF? And, ignoring for a moment the matter of what is right and wrong, what if you were caught? Could you live with the consequences?
