Very interesting and thoughtful.

I think if you check the actual biblical passages carefully, you will find most of the ideas you have of the literal heaven and hell aren't really found in the bible directly attached to the words 'heaven' and 'hell.' In fact, it's funny that heaven is so much more distinct a place in English than it is in, for example, French or Dutch, where it's literally "the sky" (le ciel, de hemel). It's not that the Lord doesn't have a place for us; it's just that we haven't directly been told much about it. We know things like "then we shall see face to face" but we don't know what the decor will be like for this event.

Time is one of the mysterious features complicating the idea of heaven, and it's fun to bring that up. In physics, time is simply another dimension of our universe, and, in the 'form' that we know it, it originated in the Big Bang along with the rest of the universe's dimensions.

Without time, there could be, as far as we know, no notion of two distinct events, not even two distinct thoughts -- not even one thought that involved some progress or comparison.

You could idly speculate that God accomplishes successive events "internally" through creating time as part of acts of creation. Well this fantasy seems to offer two possible fantasies for heaven. In one, God creates an alternate version of time for the redeemed spirits of the created entities. In another, God gives the entities their own ability to create pockets of time and thus maintain discrete existence.

The return to an eventless singularity with God is more Hinduism than Christianity, though that's by no means a refutation of the idea.
