rubbish, otherwise people would start a bit gay and get gradually gayer as life went on. it doesn't happen that way, or rather it didn't to me. I was 3 when I discovered my primary orientation and it's never changed or been seriously challenged.

only thought on the idea of habitual focus though - the sins of the parents are visited on the children to the third and fourth generation - that means there are 30 people whose sins may be visited on us - 30 pieces of silver waiting to betray us and who knows what was in their hearts in secret? it's a good job that the Lord pours blessings "in thousands" upon those who love him and their decendants.

finally, Cat, it's a shame she thinks that you can somehow "cure" yourself and become attracted to her. I don't say it can't happen, but it almost certainly won't, and if you try to "claim a healing" as some are wont to teach, you're setting yourself up for years of self doubt and condemnation when it doesn't come about. In my opinion the "name and claim" brigade need a good battering around the head with a large volume of scripture.
