Hi hurting_guy,

[I feel bad calling you "hurting_guy". I hope you don't feel that way all the time!]

It's great talking with you! I absolutely do understand where you're coming from; and it's cool to have someone else to share stuff like this with, even if it is just over the Net. I have been enjoying the forum, and am really glad I found it. I have only been around for about a month.

You said you consider yourself gay, because you don't have any interest in prepubescent boys -- only pubescent boys and very young men. I may be wrong, but I think many people on this forum probably consider themselves BL, and have the same "profile" of attractions. I don't think BL necessarily implies prepubescent, but if I'm wrong, somebody correct me. I think I said in another post that my attractions are mostly in the 8 - 16 range, but to narrow it down, I'd say 12 - 16 is where the bulk of my attractions lie. [Sometimes older, if they are young looking.] And I consider myself BL. It's a fuzzy distinction, though -- I think BL is really just a variation of gay.

>> I have a passionate interest in pubescent boys and very young men. The attractive element of their lives is the WONDER of discovery! I have an unending fixation with the process of "coming into their own".

Me too! I would add that, for me, innocence also plays a part in the attraction.

>> I longed to have someone with whom I could talk about my emerging sexuality, someone with whom I could speak completely openly and unashamed ...

That would have been cool! I can relate to that desire, too. My family was very repressed about sexual issues, and it just wasn't something we ever discussed. And, though I had a few friends, that was never something we talked about. Like you, I was basically on my own in struggling with who I was, and attempting to piece together the changes going on in my life. Having someone to affirm me in my maleness, and help guide me through that process, would have made a huge difference! But, it wasn't to be. Still, God has always been Faithful through the struggles, so "it's all good".

I'm interested to know more about your background. Your family? Your faith? Things like that. I hope you hang around on the board, and post more. From what you've said, it sounds like your attractions fit squarely within the "scope" of this group.

Don't be a stranger.

Blessings,
Rainboy
