I hope you do because I'm going to tell you. But please keep in mind that I say this as your good friend and mean nothing bad by it at all. AND if you want to tell me to take a flying leap somewhere, go ahead, I understand. But I must tell you this because it's what I've been thinking all along, ok? Cat, it's been painfully obvious to me that your wife married you because she had this big plan that she could change you into the man that she wanted you to be. I believe this was a huge mistake on her part because it just isn't possible. I've heard about women doing this kind of thing many times and almost every time the results are the same, it never turns out the way they want it to. So they get frustrated and angry and fights break out and pretty soon the marraige is over. I say the fault is all her's. She went ahead with a plan that common sense should have told her was wrong and was doomed to fail from the beginning. You know, it's ok to believe you can influence someone to change for the better in regards to things like taste in food or music or maybe personal hygiene, but sexual attraction?! I don't think so. She was wrong to even try. That's why I've told you so often not to beat yourself up over what is going on. The fact that you both can't come up with anything better than seperation and divorse is sad, but it definately isn't the end of the world. Many families have successfully dealt with that and, although it isn't ideal for the kids, it can be made to work. If I were you, I would put all my energy into doing just that; making it work for the kids in the best way you can. I know you can do it because I know how much you love them. I think your decission to do it after the hoidays is a good one for sure. As always you are at the top of my prayer list, bro.
