As I was reading your reply, a thought suddenly came to me; a question, really. Where are the good Christians in this picture? Don't they see what is going on when they drive past this bridge and aren't they asking themselves, "What would Jesus do?". Obviously they are not and I think the reason is exactly what you are talking about....fear. I know that if I were a pastor in that town, I would be conserned about the welfare of the men living under the bridge and I KNOW I would be more than tempted to bring it up with my congrigation. They might "fire" me as pastor, but I still have to live with my heart and convictions...as do they. What is it about mankind that won't allow us to learn from history? Why do we always seem doomed to repeat our biggest mistakes over and over again? We need to pray for God's family here on earth. Chris |
