Excellent New Movie.

I love Netflix because they have so many movies that I could probably NEVER find at the local rental place in my town. Well, I just saw a great movie and I thought I would pass it on to all of you. Your gonna luv this one! It's called "Stolen Summer" by director Pete Jones. It's his first movie and if this is the kind of work he is going to do in the future, I would say the world is in for some great movies indeed. This one is about an eight year old Catholic boy (I thinnk he looks more like 10 years old.) who spends his summer trying to convert another young Jewish boy (who has these huge, beautiful eyes...) of about the same age, and help him get to Heaven. The Jewish boy has terminal cancer. This might sound like it's a big time tear-jerker and maybe a bit of a downer, but believe me, it's definately not a downer. Yes it will generate some tears, but it will also make you laugh and really think about your faith, too. It will also touch your heart. I call this one a big time "must see" and give it five stars. Chris Oh yea, and the boys are sooooo cute in this one, too. The boy playing the leading role is adorable (cute little red head), and the boy who plays his just older brother is absolutely stunningly beautiful. This movie is enjoyable in many ways, believe me! |
