I have not found I can 100% give it up because the only way to do that is never ever do it. I have found it does not have complete mastery over me as I have gone through times, of a few months at a time on occasion, where I gave it up temporarily just to see if I could. Make sure my life was not run by it and that had mastery over it. I have also at times done it on a regular basis like only once a week just to see how well that goes. Like everyone else I am just experimenting in life trying to find the right way, I do not purpose to have all the answerers and neither does any other person.
