I don't think boylove is as black and white an issue as say stealing or smoking or some addiction that are pretty much only damaging.

I'm not just addicted to boys.... if I'm addicted to them at all! I love boys. Love is not a sin.

Sure my love has a sexual element which, where I to act on it, would become sinful. But when I choose not to act on it then it is just temptation... it makes my life challenging and needful to lean on God for His mercy and help in times of need... but it doesn't make me evil.

As a Christian trying to love his wife, I don't like being sexually attracted to boys. But I accept that this is my orientation and that because of it I have a love for boys that is not all aberrant.... in fact some of it is just brilliant... for me AND the boys who benefit from my appropriate attentions.

And to answer the fundamental question: some of my happiest moments in my life have come from being with the boys I love in very appropriate, non-sexual circumstances. So YES, my orientation does make me very happy... sometimes.
