3. Uncomfortable around my own age group (early 40s) ? No, not uncomfortable, just bored as hell. I don't want to sit around the pub discussing soccer with "the guys", I don't want to hang out at cocktail parties chatting crap to people, I don't want to waste time second guessing what people really mean when they talk. I just want to be around boys. They don't bullshit you - they say what they think; they don't talk crap - they talk more sense then most adults I know; they don't demand you BE a certain way in order for THEM to feel comfortable (a MAJOR adult failing). Kids have so much going for them over adults. No, I'm not uncomfortable with adults, just bored of having to try to be one. Guys my age don't scare me, they just offer me nothing.

Maybe I'm an internally shy boy too, who knows?
