I too once felt like you do, but I long ago overcame it. OK...not that long ago, it's been less than a decade though getting close. But that's beside the point. The point I wanted you to think about, which is something that helped me see things a lot more clearly is the following:

You say people would not accept the real you, but I want to challenge you to consider whether that is true or not. Don't just say "of course" and accept it as true, really think about it. What is the real you and would people really reject the real you?

Typically, when people say this (as I once did), they are thinking in terms of "if people knew I was a pedophile". But if that's all people knew about your sexuality, they still wouldn't know the real you, because they don't really understand what being a pedophile means.

Yes, if people knew you were a pedophile chances are they would not accept you, but it's not the real you they are rejecting, it's their incorrect preconceived notions of what a pedophile is that they are rejecting. If they knew the real you; not the word pedophile, not some preconceived fictional image of what that means, not some incorrect view of you being a ticking time bomb or a child molester or an evil person, if they knew the REAL you as you REALLY are and not as their preconceived notions tell them people like you are, would they still not accept you? Think about it.
