Eventually you will come to a point where you realize that this is the hand you have been dealt and there is nothing you can do to change it. Once you come to this realization, you can take up the truly important question of how you are going to play this hand you have been dealt.

There are an infinite number of ways that people play this hand. Some will choose to molest or rape children. Some will choose to pursue loving sexual relationships with children. Some will choose to pursue loving relationships with children but avoid the sexual component. Others will choose to be around children but not become too close to any particular child. Still others will choose to avoid children all together.

If you are a christian, I believe that the only options you have that allow you to keep your integrity are ones that do not involve being sexually active with anyone you are not married to. This does not mean you have to stay away from children. I minister to children on an almost daily basis. But not everyone can do that and still keep their integrity.

Being a pedophile is not the end of the world. Many of us live full and happy lives and I have no doubt that once you resolve these issues, you will too.
