As you'd said in another post, you don't really have that much of a sexual attraction... Or I think it was you that said that (if it is not, I apologize). Mostly this post was aimed at people like me who do have a sexual attraction for boys and/or girls (girls in my case) and have prayed many many times to have that attraction taken from them.

Having a loving appreciation for children is much different than wishing you could make love to them if given that society were more open and it would not hurt them. For so many of us, however, that IS the fantasy. Even when we know that it could never ever be in real life, the fantasy lingers.

What I wanted to have people ask themselves is how attached are they to that lingering fantasy? I was more attached than I had thought and I have only now begun to realize it. I wouldn't mind what other people thought, but it really is a private question that they only have to answer to themselves.

Could they give it up? Would they?
