I know how it feels struggling with your public image. I used to be really open about being a boylover because I felt that just as one should not need to hide the fact that one is gay, one should also feel safe to disclose that he is a boylover considering that I was a harmless person... I even had (appropriate) pictures of young boys on my myspace, and I talked about Sam very often as he was the most important person in my life... But I lost some friends because of it and certain individuals will never think very highly of me ever again so I've decided not to be so verbal about it anymore.
