Hi CSL and thank you for replying. I'm grateful for your concern. I know nothing about 'Freud' save his name. Although I do believe that psychology is a valid discipline, I also believe it is superseded by theology. My conviction before the Lord is that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God, and His revelation about this issue in my life is clear and non-negotiable. I agree that I may never be cured this side of Heaven, but I will never accept that this issue in my life is a 'gift'. However I do believe that God can work even through my weakness:

"And He said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather boast about my weakness that the power of Christ may dwell in me." 2 Corinthians 12:9
