the reply I made to william is in referance to this post of yours as well.

But as to not blaming God, I wholeheartedly agree with you.

I know that formulas don't work, that God can't be manipulated by our actions.

My foucs is more on the lines of "am I somehow standing in God's way, and being unwilling to accept his healing or leading for growth" rather than "if I could just find the right way to manipulate God then He'd give me what I want".
