Some interesting things happened in church today.

A lady gave a testimony about being healed from an illness.

She had suffered many years with this illness and it was causing her considerable pain. She had prayed a long time for some relief.

One night in a healing meeting she was told by the guys praying for her that the illness was not hers. That in Christ it didn't belong to her, it was a work of Satan's. They encouraged her not to "own" it.

So that week, as pain came upon her, she would say "this is not my illness it doesn't belong to me, I'm a child of God"

By the end of the week she had no more pain. She hasn't suffered since for the past 4 years.

It got me thinking.... If I call myself a boylover. If I identify myself as a pedo. Am I "owning" something that has no place in my Christian new creation person.

If I say... "sure I have feelings... but they don't belong to me, I'm a new creation. I renounce them in Jesus name."....
If I say this and pray along these lines... will it make a difference?
