I'm really quite torn at the moment about my marriage.

My wife says conflicting things to me.

On one hand she says: "I'd rather have you here than not have you at all"

On the other hand she says: "Having you here, knowing that you aren't attracted to me, is torture and you should just leave and let me get over you".

My own heart says conflicting things too.

On one hand she's my best friend and I love her and want to be with her as her husband.

On the other hand I have such a strong desire to NOT have sex with her.

We are both finding this double mindedness very difficult. But both choices seem impossible. To stay or to go? Cat just don't know what to do.

At this point the thing that keeps me hanging in more than anything is the belief that Scripture commands permanence of marriage. But how to reconcile the problems?????
