Ok here it is guys...

I'm trying to put together a resource to help BLs who are struggling with porn addictions and habits that they are having trouble breaking or controlling.

I'm open to ideas, requests, inputs, links and suggestions.

As part of this project I'm requesting testimonies.

These will be completely anonymous (you can even create a new email address just for the one delivery if you have to).

WHAT I DON'T WANT
I don't want a "Where to get it" Guide or a "How to" manual.

WHAT I DO WANT
Reflecting on some Scriptures
Eccl 12:9-12 And moreover, because the Preacher was wise, he still taught the people knowledge; yes, he pondered and sought out and set in order many proverbs. 10 The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and what was written was upright—words of truth. 11 The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars[b] are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd. 12 And further, my son, be admonished by these.

James 5:16 Confess your trespasses[e] to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

1 Cor 10: 13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

With these in mind I would like some testimonies of your struggles with porn. How it has effected your life, your walk with God, your relationships. How it has burdened or even helped you. How you have tried to deal with it.. what has worked... what hasn't.
The kind of cycles you go through relating to this topic. What drives you, what strengthens you, do you see patterns in your habits etc...
How has it effected your relationships with other BLs. IE: How have others helped or hindered you.
If anyone has done jail time for porn related issues or had legal problems these would be particularly welcome.
I'm also interested in any help/hindrance that has been given by church communities.
Books titles and a brief summary of texts that have helped you would also be great.
...and anything else that you think would be relevant.

I'm conscious that confessing some things will be a big deal for some of us so I'm happy to dialog with you if that is relevant. Remember that where possible these testimonies will be made anonymously public so bear that in mind with what you include.
