Psychology is a soft science, meaning you can use scientific models of research and statistics to show a trend in human thinking and behavior. Do this for yourself: Go google and read the "Kinsey Reports." Kinsey is the one that established the 1-6 "straight-to-gay" continuum. I say that only because you're a reader. For most people, I'd just say to go to Blockbuster and rent "Kinsey." It's all about his life and his research on sexuality. It's a really good movie.
