Your right about that my friend. (I am back, by the way...) I decided early on to kind of use the trip as a learning experience instead of letting him get to me. It wasn't easy because your first reaction is to feel just like you did when you were a young boy. But then I remembered that I'm NOT a young boy, but a mature adult (well...mature when I want to be..ha ha ha), and I can choose to act or react like a matur adult. So when he tried to needle me with comments, I just filed them away in my mind under "useful information for healing my inner child". Then I just took the conversation somewhere else without making him think that that was what I was doing. It worked really well, actually. Now I'm busy writing all the filed stuff down in my journal to use it the way it should be used. It wasn't an easy thing to do, and it put me through an emotional wringer, but it is working. I've got some great insight on what happened to me when I was very young and I can't wait to talk to my psycologist about it.

At any rate, we had a good time at the zoo...what a great place for seeing things like tigers, owls, exotic fish, and especially cute boys. I loved the boywatching the best, I think!
