Youth, you know by now that I don't think masturbation is bad at all, nor fantasy. Obsession can be, to be sure, and dangerous if it is about a real person. But just jacking off to dreams is a nearly inescapable fact of our existence as men. There are few (if any) who can actually stop either, and I disbelieve most who claim it.

But even if I were to say that masturbation is horrible "self-abuse" (one of the most ridiculous terms our language has even come up with), even then I would still say this:

You can't eliminate all your bad habits. If you could, you'd be Jesus. And hun, you ain't Jesus.

I think that you can harm yourself a great deal more by trying to stop jacking off than by just doing it. If you make yourself feel guilty all the time, and then keep doing it, and feeing more guilty, you will only throw yourself into depression, where you will either die or turn away from God. (OK, that's worst case scenario, but you get the idea).

Now then, all that said, if *you* feel called by the Spirit to stop this behavior, then by all means, obey. But don't tear yourself apart just because you're a human.
