I wish my BM had turned out like CSL's, but I think it was pretty good. And who knows how it might go in the future? Anyway, my town had a small art fair last weekend and I was told by a friend that I should check out a particular exibit because it was art work done by a very young artist who is just starting out. So when I got there it didn't take me long to find my friend and have him point me in the direction of the artist he had mentioned. Oh man was I hoping against hope that it would be a young boy artist...my hopes were more than fulfilled, let me tell you!

There he was, this wonderful twelve year old boy with dark, curly hair and huge blue eyes...a face so cute you just had to stare at least for a little while. He was standing in front of several portraits he had painted and was selling. I started looking at his work and I'll tell you what, this kid has some talent. I trully like the way he paints. So later on that day my friend and I were sitting down to eat something and the boy sat down right next to us to eat as well. That was when I got a good chance to talk to him and discuss his work, which he was thrilled to hear that I really like. But then I went and did it...

I told him I want him to do a portrait for me. And I meant it, I really do. I want a painting done of a famous bluesman whom I love. I asked him if he wanted the job and he said "Yes!!!" So now I must find a good picture of the person and send it to him. He lives out of town, but will be coming back from time to time to visit. Yea...I can't wait until he comes to visit! Boy Moments just ROCK!!! (a hug would have been cool too....oh well!)
