That is incorrect. A fallacy is an error in reasoning; it occurs whenever you make an argument such that it is possible for all of the premises to be correct and the conclusion to still be incorrect. Looked at another way, a fallacy is an argument that, whether true or not, does not help you prove your point.
This is not the case here. If all of the premises of the argument are correct, then the conclusion must be correct. Thus the argument is logically sound and what is up for debate is whether the premises are correct. It is, by definition, not a fallacious argument. |
