The bible speaks of wisecounsel, not ignorant counsel. Wise counsel is useful, ignorant counsel is detrimental. When you seek out counsel, you should seek it from those qualified to give it. I would not seek counsel on how to do something with my computer from someone who knows far less about it than I do; neither would I seek counsel on how to swap out the radiator on my car from someone who has never worked on a car. Why would you seek counsel from someone who lacks any knowledge on the topic and knows far less about it than you do?
