By the argument in your first sentence (God expects us to live lives of abstinence and Holiness while on this earth.) you seem to be saying that all people should be celibate, including heterosexuals.

Doesn't it make more sense that he was probably refering to us non-heterosexuals on this forum? When people use the term "us" they are usually referring to the people they are in conversation with, not to the whole world.
