By the argument in your first sentence (God expects us to live lives of abstinence and Holiness while on this earth.) you seem to be saying that all people should be celibate, including heterosexuals. If so, you should become a Shaker.

Your final statement (He made us this way, which means He made us to have this ability to lead the abstinent, holy lifestyle.) is a logical statement, which must stand up to scrutiny. And it does not. Because there are a large number of homosexual people who do not feel that they have the strength to be celibate for life. And God's answer to our prayers for that kind of strength has been "No."
