Most writers (See Masters & Johnson, Kinsey!) look at "sex" as the time between the first twinkling of a sexual idea and the refractory (blahs...) stage of orgasm. But what if the really interesting part of "sex" is THE EXACT OPPOSITE stretch of time: the time FROM the refractory stage, when sex is the last thing you want to think about, TO the first twinkling of the next sexual idea? Because it's in avoiding all those twinklings, inamidst all that ducking, hiding the eyes, dodging and weaving, that a man's REAL WORK gets done. As much or as little as that is....
