I've never felt that God gave me my attraction to boys. God may indeed have given us a special love for boys, but I can't see Him giving us a sexual need that has no useful purpose. A sexual need between opposite genders is needed for procreation. Sexual need for boys does nothing that non-sexual love cannot do. Even if we lived in a world that accepted man/boy sexual action, and even if the boys never suffered at all from it, it would still be a very temporary relationship since boys always grow up. So we would live our lives going from one boy to the next. That isn't from God. We shouldn't feel guilty about feelings we can't control, but we shouldn't bask in them either.

I think the problem pedophiles have (at least I sure have this problem) is that love and sex are so damn closely related. It's hard to enjoy our natural Agape love we have for boys without Eros love creeping in. But I think as Christians, that should be our goal.
