Do you really beleive that all this postive regard for another human being is really the work of the "old man"... is it really "inordinate affection" and "carnal desire".... I find it so hard to believe this that I'm wondering if you really read my post at all.

I don't want justification to sex this boy up. If I was saying that I'd feel like your reply was right on track.

I want to bring blessing to this boy's life. I want to be part of the nurturing process that makes him a strong holy man in Christ. I want to be an instrument in communicating the love of God to this kid. Is this really being motivated by the "old man"? If it is.... sheesh, I don't even want to go there :S
