It is called inordinate affection and carnal desire - and the remedy is crucifixion of the 'old man' at the cross so that you can experience the 'new man'. If we live in the Spirit and walk in the Spirit we will not fulfill the lusts of the flesh. I pray that you will make the decision to 'die daily' as Paul wrote, so that you might begin to walk in purity and power trusting in Jesus to strengthen you by the Holy Spirit.
