Hi,
I'm in need of some advice as to an initiation for when my now 12yr old frind reaches 13 in about 2 months.
I've suggested to him a mid-night walk through a grave-yard (cemetary), or even a parchute jump. Ta thing is that it needs to be something which overcomes at least one of his fears & is a challenge. I've told him that whatever I'll be beside him & hold his hand if necessary.

In my view & the view of the Jewish community a boy steps into manhood at 13years of age. All over the world at the same age different tribes & peoples have all sorts of ceremonies.

What would you suggest for a "Coming of Age" event to a boy of 12 stepping over to 13?
