I doubt they were thinking of pedophilia when they did that. They were probably just concerned that Jesus was too important to be bothered by a bunch of kids. That has always been my take on the story, anyway. And, of course, Jesus had something quite different to tell them. I love that story because it gives us so much insight into what He was like. I wonder what it must have been like to have been one of those children.
