I agree with cat to a large degree - you can't focus on it too much. But then again, as nice as it would be, a car is not something that can actually just be "let go" of. I really hope that any obstacles that you now face (transportation places, particularly to work) work out, and that you find some support in your community.

This is one of those situations where your dad would say "its going to build character", after which you want to knock em one :P This is not a character building time. It is a time where you will definitely be tested - tested in your physical relationships, your relationship with God, and your relationship with the community. It is going to be hard.

Yes, you will need faith in God. But don't expect him to fly your wife to work. You gotta get out there and try and make some stuff happen. God won't leave you abandoned, but you might have to work for the help He is offering.

Now, I'm sure you already know this and I'm just stating the obvious. But I just wanted to be a voice on the board here supporting you in that the loss of your car is obviously a very real and very influential loss in your life. But I totally agree with Cat in that I KNOW that you can get through this and that God will support you in some way.
