I think that qwerty actually believes (as I do) that God can help people if they permit Him to. I have seen it happen many times, and it has been happening for two thousand years now.

Also, qwerty is not suggesting that someone in crisis be "informed" about Jesus, but asked to open themselves to the experience of His existance. A far more profound thing (if one can believe one's own heart).
