Hey, "try and try and try and try again", that's the way you do it. I have never known anyone who has been able to kick any kind of addiction with just one try. I've had to quit drinking many times before being able to have the years of sobriety that I have. I had five years of sobriety once and started drinking again, back in 1999 I think. It happens. But the thing is, don't ever quit quitting. Persistance is the key. I myself have been trying to quit tobbaco for a long time and I'm still doing it. I have no idea how many times I've tried to quit, but the last time almost worked. Maybe the next time will be the one. And believe me, there IS going to be a next time...I'm going to try again.
I'm with you, Aaron. I'm your friend and I'm with you. And I don't care if you have to try a hundred or two hundred times, I'll still be with you and still be your friend. Just to TRY to do what your doing takes a lot of guts and I have only respect and admiration for you. I will never think less of you if you slip or fail! Keep that in mind. I'm praying for you.
